I agree on that, old lenses weakness will show on high MP modern sensor, especially the Helios at corner, some composition has to be limited.
And the addictive AF with native lenses, undeniably best workflow I had.

Some new picts again, this time with Canon 100mm macro lens, with V850ii for backlight.

But do you find the same problem I place with focus shifting. Like the focus point in the centre and the edge is maybe few metres apart.

Ehem, sorry if I mencelah after so long being quiet...

.... but that sounds like an bad case of Field Curvature to me. It's pretty prevalent amongst "cheaper" wide-ish FL optics, but heck, every lens has it AFAIK. It's just how "bad" it is that's the issue, as most lenses correct it enough that it's not too much of a problem.

And with the 7artisans, well, the price savings has got to come from somewhere, eh?

Of course if the focus "issue" isn't consistent in all 4 corners then you have something else completely: Decentering, which is even worse, and as it's name implies, is the lens focus not being centered properly.

BTW, anybody else still soldiering on with APSC? Myself I'm still holding on somehow and still haven't fallen prey to the allure of the FF Dark Side.

That I can't argue myself lol. Especially that RM2 25mm 7A floating around during Lazada 11.11. I would have gotten one - cheapo or otherwise - if I didn't already have my beloved 24Z in that range.

I did recently sell off my SEL50 though, AND I'm going back to SunLand in a weeks time so that compact Sigma 1.4/56 DN C (due by the 22/11 over there) sure as heck looks like a mighty tempting replacement... but of course walantee = go back SunLand ler.

Poisan poisan. Must test test see see first if it's as good as the 1.4/30 and 16.

I actually am using a 766G batch 128GB Extreme Pro card right now, but not on a FF Alpha body ler. No issues so far using on my current APSC body (A6300) either.

As of how to return, just check the stickers on your memory card packaging, there should be a tiny sticker indicating who you should return your cards to (the specific distributor - there are a few). Just call them up and ask for a return of your cards citing corruption issues.

Or you can go through the seller.

Keep in mind though that AFAIK SanDisk REQUIRES the cards to be returned with the packing it came in - even if you've split the packing in half to get to the cards themselves. I've had a few returns denied (cards/flash drives) because of this, back when one of their distributors had offices in Amoda in front of Lowyat.

Sounds pretty petty (and kinda ridiculous frankly) but eyyy, at least when I did send cards/flash drives back with the packing the process did end up being pretty fuss free.

Oh shucks! 2 of my 64GB SanDisk Extreme Pro UHS-1 with batch 838g have this problem too. Just bought it recently and never had the time to slot it in. I read this post and immediately try slot it in and ta-daaa! Cannot read in slot 1. cry.gif
