well can always crop but yeah the more zoom the better.
only problem is zoom lenses tend to stay at home more due to their size and weight.

I using A6000 only. With 55-210 at F8, ISO sometimes at 1600 or even 3200 ISO. Crop d then the pic like useless d.

150-600 looks like a choice to me. But have to get the sigma version with MC11 for it to work. Tamron one won't work as well.

Similar size or smaller than batis 25?

Not bad at all except the price. 24mm ff 1.4 can also become 35mm f2 on a6000 series

Same filter thread size (67mm) but looks longer than the Batis.
Wonder if the minimum focus distance will be as good on this new GM...

seeing how the Sony FE 100mm is RM6k here, the 24mm should be around RM5.5k when it reaches

Wonder if I should have waited for the GM even though I got the Batis at a great price

Really interested in a head to head between the new 24mm GM and the Batis 25mm.

From the specs released

- 24mm GM is 100g heavier
- The GM benefits from a focus hold button and aperture ring
- GM is f1.4!!!!

- Batis is shorter and lighter but has a larger diameter.
- Batis has a 4cm closer MFD
- OLED display on the Batis (mostly for bragging rights only though)

Wait for Sony MY to put it on display, then compare. They will certainly will at KLCC branch
