Exactly the stuff I mentioned.
It cant control zoom range (of speedlite/flash units, as bigger strobe doesnt have this), limited group channel, no Multi mode.

But when using flash like TT350S as trigger can set to multi right?

Actually what's the purpose of multi? Need to explore how to make use of multi haha

My tiny little Communist Pancake has finally arrived (after nearly 2 months of travelling, possibly by sampan):

And before anyone asks, no it DOESN'T really take razor sharp photos, especially wide open. It's more or less comparable to the 16mm IQ wise.

So why this and not the 16mm? Well, I wanted a tiny lens I can stuff onto the A5100 to take around when the bulk (or the "potential loss" value) of a "proper" setup isn't needed... but I didn't want to fork out the dough needed for the kitty or the 16mm (or even the 20mm, again).

The Industar 69 (2.8/28) is cheap as chips (sub 200) and takes decent enough shots so yeah, why not. Mine's calibrated out of the box for actual infinity and comes with the adapter included so it's a decent enough deal IMHO.

Also swirly bokeh if you can get close enough, even if stuff like that isn't exactly my cuppa tea.

Minuses? No AF of course and it's pretty hard to find one that isn't beaten up silly (physically or optically) after all these years (it's a 60s-70s lens after all). Plus, the lens itself isn't really up to L39 mount specs (it's actually built in it's own, unique mount BASED on the L39 mount) - hence the need to find a modified/calibrated one or to modify it yourself to achieve "proper" infinity.

Annnnnnd, 28mm on APSC isn't exactly the most versatile of FLs either.

Still, it's a fun little piece of glass if you don't expect too much from it. Will try to take some more shots using the lil bugger later.

Probably, though I personally only uses off-camera flash kind of setting, it may work for you.

Shot from the train eh? You might wanna pack a CirPL next time to minimise the window reflection (though arguably even if you do use one, it might not kill ALL of the reflections anyway if you're not in a good angle).

However, I do like the light breaching the clouds. Those are always nice to take photos of.

And the first Samyang photo is Sapporo? Looks like somewhere in the Susukino area to me. Might be wrong though lol.

it all depends on how and what you enjoy shooting.
if you're asking this question im guessing you like the compactness of the RX100 series, go for it.

im a booookeh whore. so i'll never give up an interchangeable lens camera.
fake bokeh from those smartphones doesnt count. d:

QUOTE(IwanAGP @ Oct 15 2017, 08:43 PM)

Btw am doing some research on using the Godox in wireless mode.
I know there's this channel thing that needs to be the same across all flashes be it master or slave. Then got group ABC but how many flashes can I assign to group A B C respectively? If I got 20 slave flashes can I have 10 on channel A and another 10 on channel B?

[attachmentid=9241260]
*
If my assumption is correct, the only limit is the range of the signal that is being broadcast by the trigger. Say the signal broadcasting radius is 100m, then u can place as many flashes as you want within that radiowave radius set to the same group and same channel. I based my assumption on the fact that, there is no synchronization/linking needed between the Godox trigger and the receiver(the flash), where as other brand such as nissin, you need to sync the receiver and the trigger. I think it kinda work like the walkie talkie. As long as everyone's unit is under the same frequency, one send, all receive, within range, of course.

QUOTE(IwanAGP @ Oct 16 2017, 08:05 PM)
biggrin.gif biggrin.gif I still don't get you. What kind of limit?
The Xpro looks too pro for me. I don't think I will use much of its functions.
*
Ya, probably you won't. Like me, just stick to the 350 as the trigger and get another bigger flash such as 600/685s as the off camera flash. And Yes, you can use the 600 (no S version) as the trigger, but it has manual mode only, which mean, it will make your off camera flash such as tt350s (a ttl flash) into a manual flash also.

I agreed with KyLL. It really depends on what you're after. Compactness or bokeh. For me, I will never give up bokeh for compactness. And it's true that 18105g is quite bulky. Perhaps you should go 'prime' ? brows.gif

Wait till you need a flash gun. You'll hate why you've not kept the A6000 haha

Btw another new toy. $17 SGD around RM51 shipped from overseas no warranty.
Attached Image

It's a Godox LED36. Not the most powerful but given the size I think it's great.
