What was Kimi 1st result drove McLaren Merz F1 team??

wow...he started from grid no 5? result 3rd ...  also set the fastest lap!! 

why so hard to believe? He finished 7th coz all the other cars DNF. Only 8 drivers finished that time...last was Petro de la Rosa in the Jaguar, 2 laps behind Alex. Most probably had some problem with his car too. The Arrows finished too but they were disqualified...not sure why.

Ferrari's Kimi Raikkonen has revealed just what it means to drive an entire Grand Prix without any team radio contact. Raikkonen's lights-to-flag victory in Melbourne may have looked straightforward, but it seems the communications issues brought with them their own unique challenges.

To stay informed, the Finnish driver relied on regular pit-board updates but, unable to talk with his race engineer Chris Dyer, Raikkonen's afternoon was a solitary one. With no one on the other end of the radio pushing him, he admitted he experienced several lapses of concentration during the 58-lap Grand Prix.

"On one occasion - just about ten laps before the end the race - I almost fell asleep!" the Finn told Ferrari's official website. "I got distracted, my concentration levels dropped a bit and I locked the wheels and took turn number 3 slightly too wide: even without radio I knew that they were saying: 'Kimi, wake up!'"

And although he ended the race as easily the fastest driver, with a best lap of 1m 25.235s, Raikkonen also divulged that without the communication difficulties he may well have been tempted to go even quicker. The Finn's revelation will undoubtedly worry the competition, who were all over a second slower than the Ferrari driver's F2007.

imho massa is very telented driver...fast in qualifying and fast when nobody infront of him...but his passing ability is quit low compare to kimi,alonso and schumi...and one more thing, he s**k in wet condition...

if in sepang he get p1 and kimi p2, get a good start and don't have any prob, there is nothing kimi can do 

Kimi have this experience fighting for the championship with world champions, Schumi. He knows how to handle pressure well, after years at McLaren, he has learned everything he needs to and is prepare to fight for championships.

Massa is still learning to be consistent, trying to win as many races as possible. and most importantly, he hasn't been in the position to really fight for a championship before thus lack the experience.

If Ferrari were to fight for the driver's title, Kimi is their only hope against Alonso. If Kimi can't deliver, I don't think massa can either, he'll lose out to Alonso in terms of experience and other stuff such as keeping himself compose in harder times.

I don't quite like to go to watch F1 at Sepang as well. Firstly, the food and drinks are expensive. 

Secondly, I don't like the way I was being treated by the security personnel. Maybe grand stand tickets got better treatment. I don't know.

Thirdly, it is too hot under the sun. Global warming some more..
