You're telling me that he's so specific about the details even during race time? And I do mean really specific details. As in on which precise lap his closest competitor last pitted, compared to his...or exactly how many seconds the fuel filler was attached to his opponent's car, type of tyres that went on the car...or even each sector time comparison between his and the opponent?

if you say that he does take in those info...then fine, I'm wrong. whistling.gif

Yeah Schumi has always been that specific. Of course when u say it all together it seems impossible to do that and drive at 250kph..but i'm thinking he just requests specific info at specific times

Ross Brawn will tell him EVERYTHING he wants to know. how far is teh car, how fast was his lap, how the car was doing, etc. That's why ppl said Kimi cannot be the next Schumacher. Hungary 1998, he was trailing both McLaren. Ross Brawn then said to him he needs x laps with xx.xx times for him to leapfrog both cars when they stopped for fuel. He did just that.

I think the steering wheel lcd only shows info about your car...things like temp, gear, speed, rpm, etc. I don't think it shows info relative to your competitor's car..that's what the radio comm and pitboards are for.

ceh...that part about how many quick laps of coz la. Even I know how to calculate myself during race. Dun need pitcrew to tell me. But it is inconsistent with what I mentioned earlier...nvm...

but the lcd shows his lap time during qualifying isn't it? Does it do the same in the race? I know its not so useful, but the driver can see how fast he's lapping in the race.

Those F1 cars and in the future are so shocking.gif
Wing and tyre pressure etc. all can be adjust remotely from the garage shakehead.gif
Such high tech stuff.

I have question, those F1 cars does not use TC correct?
I mean not all the time.
They only use it in corners because you always see the TC come and go at the
screen using TV cockit.

Those TC was ON automatically correct?

TC only comes in when the car is too fast into a corner. The TC comes in to stop the car from drifting.

I think the cars are allowed to only have one way telemetry. Car to Garage and not Garage to car.

Wrong. TC was only implemented a few years back. Before that drivers all drove without TC. It's a reason why some enthusiasts say it's much easier to drive a F1 car now.

Why would it be almost impossible? There are more years that drivers have driven without TC than those with TC. Are you saying that the likes of Fangio, Mansell, Senna, Prost, etc are gods?? tongue.gif

well i think TC kinda puts talent in the backseat. though more dangerous, i would honestly prefer if TC was banned
