As far as i can remember, pantat is synonymous with vagina (vulgar) in Selangor/KL. This would be in the early 80s. However, my parents were BM teachers. They told me everywhere else in the malay world (borneo, indonesia etc), pantat refers to the ass.

It's one of those misused references that got muddled up in its use. Similar to "sempoi", which has different meanings in northern and southern semenanjung. To one person, sempoi means "cool" (positive), like "pergh sempoi gila cara dia baqak motor!".

to the other it means "selekeh" (negative), like "hoi mana boleh pakai sempoi masuk office!"

pantat mean ass. only ppl like buttsex offended by pantat. esspecially hairy pantat

in Sarawak, pantat is amput.

Here in my place ,Pantat is a "day" word, people here use it widely without hesitation...they refer it as lubang dubur....
But back home, Pantat is very provocative, diminutive word that everyone try to avoid.....

Here: Arrrh Boleh minta ubat yang masuk lalu Pantat ?

Back home: Arrrhh Kalau boleh saya mahu ubat yang masuk lalu Dubur...?
