but do kinda agree some of them are just too useless even for kopitiam

No matter how much enforcement and rule making things will remain the same because of the following reasons

#1. Kopitiam spammers are retards

#2. Those same retards think they own kopitiam

#3. Retards are publicity whore

#4. And whever someone tells them to behave, they get a thorough flmaing or worse, if mod intervenes, same mod gets reported for being so called "harsh and rude"

Its all posted in "counted" sections and i seriously i didnt know which section counted which not coz lazy to findout and doesnt bother to....know knows kopitiam isnt counted..
And i've been refraining myself alot not to post in "counted" section..

Anyway, I dont really think it's possible to enforce anything at Kopitiam. Given the amount of traffic that goes through there, who has the time to sift through all the threads to catch the spammers?

Besides, post dont count, so what's the big deal? Just stop feeding the trolls/morons, and they'll cease. The more attention you pay to them (either by flaming or responding to them), the more they'll carry on.

We prefer to let the retards stay in the kopitiam, rather then have them run around in other parts of the forum. With the number of members we have, you don't expect everyone to be impeccably mannered do you?

It is true that the current Kopitiam is a mix-match of useful and non-unseful thread. Normally I dont visit there.

jz let them post anything in kopitiam and close the thread if inactive for 2 days or not more than 10 ppl reply..

retard post is the main reason y kopitiam so many people hang around...

It does make sense. We cant stop them from lurking around no matter what kind new rules have been cast on them. Even if u suggest to ban them or anything, in another few mins, a new acc appears and those retards start using it to spams around again. Then why dont we just ignore them and group them back in that section. Its better than letting them bothering in other section's threads.

I must agree, Kopitiam is a really "fascinating" corner with a lot of "thought provoking" ideas. To think, quite a number of them know less than half of the things they are talking about.

Problem is, when you let them "vent out " their idiosyncrasies there, they think that Lowyat.Net is a Venting Machine. I have in fact come into contact with numerous postings that either don't make sense, or makes "non-sense". Mud is everywhere now. It is some times so hard to decide whether to answer back or just ignore. Some of the stuff they tell is just pure "unusable" and sometimes, highly damaging and misleading...

I hope I am not rambling here, but I do feel that some sort of action could be done, But as Reality goes, it just doesn't work. I guess sane people ought to just ignore...

I'm more annoyed generally at idiotic spammers such as Drifter who went to every thread in Kopitiam and spamming people to visit his thread. The other retards don't really bother me, infact they provide great amusement, or even the acknowledgment that there are much more stupider people than you out there xD.
