Matang is a good company, it has a real business and a real plantation estate in johor..the price of cpo is rising..this is a MCA business,surely no pp because it is for the people by large.

Personally, the only reason I can think of the 130mn shares allotted to public is because the *old people* who had shares of Matang didn't know that they had to subscribed or write in to get their shares. So...a lot of shares went down the drain for them. Then, its only open to public. Simple thinking might give big gains. LOL

I'm starting to think whether they choose not to due to hearsaying about the company. Or either that as you mentioned not aware about that.

Well Matang is a very heavy company of 1.81 billion shares. But most of them are on lock down period and with no private placement, I expect heavy competition from the ballot so in the end of the day, it may push up the shares.

Anyhow, today's the day of ballotting. We will see how it performs.
