Hi Sifus,
I noticed that Windows 10 has Windows Defender built into it. Do we need to install Antivirus or Internet Security Suites?

QUOTE(CyrusWong @ Jul 15 2016, 03:14 PM) Noted. I assumed Windows Defender would be good but like you've said it is better to have an antivirus. Any recommendation? |

It depends on you how to surf internet and download something, especially torrent, may include some malware or PUP programs.
You can use google and search windows 10 needs AV or not. Most of people will say yes. Free Antivirus you can search on google. Paid Antivirus you can search on google. You can try each AV and choose which one is better for you. Normally, people will say paid version is better because you paid for it then you will get technical support from vendors when you need expertise IT to help. I cann't comment which one is good, pros and cons. But you must know you also need firewall, either from windows firewall or third party firewall. You want to know what is firewall, you can search on google also. Simple example, firewall is like your house gate or house door. Open and close your door when you need go out or come in. Allow outgoing and incoming internet. AV+ firewall = internet security AV= Police come in your house and catch a thief because you allow him come in. (em...who come in, police or thief? Both. Police you invited because you buy a license, thief you allowed because you opened a door let him in. Ha Ha Ha !) This post has been edited by perfectgrowwell: Jul 22 2016, 03:07 PM |
