What is the setting I need to use in order to upload a clear video to FB? Also the text in my uploaded video so blur.
My video was created using iPad and exported in .MOV format.
I have heard something on the requirement of video codec before upload to Facebook in order to get a clearer video by default.
Anyway free software check the whole video information on resolution, bitrate, etc? How?

I had this issue when shared my instagram video onto facebook.

The quality dropped very sharply.

Is there anything that can be done?

edit: Yes, HD mode was on. But quality was like 240p.

well it could be that because of their popularity FB allowed them to upload at higher quality. youtube did this before where vid length/quality is limited but unlocked if they found that the channel was raking in tons of views.

Hi. I recently faced this issue also but managed to google and found a way to do so.

I am using an iPhone so my method is ios method only.

There are actually 2 ways of uploading photos/videos using iphone. First way is using the FB mobile app (the one we used to download from AppStore) and another way is to use the built-in FB app in iphone settings.

Whenever you use FB mobile app, eventhough the mobile app setting already turn on HD, the video will still be blur. Hence, this method is not advisable.

However, you can go to your picture Gallery in your phone, click on the video and at the bottom left, click on the share button (arrow pointing upwards in a rectangle) and scroll to FB. Note that the built-in FB settings also need to turn on the HD option. This way, it will use the built-in FB app to upload HD instead of using the AppStore FB app.

I tried and it works perfectly.

Give it a shot and do update us if it works for you.

Cheers.

Anyone know any software that can zoom in on a video that is recorded in mpeg4 format by a dashcam?

I googled up and tried some sow but it doesn't clearly zoom in. I would like to zoom in on a motorcycle number plate in the video.

Anyone know of such software or someone that offers such service?
