Gamer's Hideout is asking for additional RM100 for the console and additional RM20 for the controller so the total package is RM349 + RM69 = 418

Same experience during the launch of New Nintendo 3DS XL with GH.. think paid RM850 during pre-order. Week before collection, GH asked for RM999 (or close to that figure) due to reasons (cannot remember if it was due to currency fluctuation or orders > available stock). Paid for it because it was a promised gift.

Gamer's Hideout just sent notification on delay of both the console and extra controllers to next Monday or beyond.. more price gouging expected?

The newly opened bigger shop at 1U.. next shop or 2 shops away from the old shop.

Console +RM100 (final price: RM349) and the controller +RM20 (final price: RM69).. final damage (if buy) = RM418.

Note: Extra 3rd controller (for friend).. the console already comes with 1 controller so you just need to get 1 more for 2P play.. not to worry.

Might be useful information:
1. You can power the unit using powerbank.
2. Nintendo Wii Classic controller can be used as an extra controller but can only use one as you cannot fit 2 directly to the unit.
3. Game manuals can be found here (provided in the game menu) - https://www.nintendo.co.jp/clv/manuals/
4. Bugs and cheats in the original games will still be present.
5. Get the Wii controller extension cable if you have to place the unit near the TV (due to HDMI cable length).. or get the HDMI cable extension too.

Nope.. cancelled the order for console and got my refund. Got the console from Gemfive at a much cheaper price.

You can use it for My Nintendo account and use it to purchase virtual items, redeem games and discount game vouchers. 300 points are not much IIRC.. so if you don't use it, keep it or donate to others or give it to your friends.

1. How are the controllers?
2. Any language options?
