i have a hotlink sim which register under my wife name. what is the procedure in order to change the sim under my name?

and let say the sim is under her name, if i want to change the sim to 4G sim can i do it by my own?

Both of you (new owner) and your wife (the owner) must go to a Maxis Centre together to have both of your NRIC verified. Transfer of number ownership is free and it can only be done at Maxis Centre run by Maxis directly (as in not dealer) such as Maxis Centre at KLCC, The Gardens, Lowyat Plaza, Pavillion etc.

I've bought a simpack from LYN seller from KL and already registered. Not possible to go to Maxis Centre with the seller since I'm in Kuching. Went to Maxis Centre Kuching and got it changed to my name. At first they said its not allowed without previous owner present. Got really irritated at their replies and show them the screenshot from Hotlink representative from LYN which told me that I only have to present my proof of ownership which is my IC. The stupid Maxis Centre girl malu already and copied my IC and ask me my recently dialed number. So its possible to change without previous owner but really not that easy. Need to push them.
