Hey /k,

Today receive my own personalized debit picture card from Maybank, have to get through the congested road to take this piece of low quality product. Lol xD
Let's take a look at my new card. And my steps. Haha

1. I got the idea randomly while im boring and decided to design my own personalized debit card. I went to my PC and start some designing.


2. Done some designing, I upload my design to maybank debit picture card application website.


3. And finally about a week later, i received a call from maybank to take the card. Ah feels lazy but for the sake of that piece of shit, I go take it.


The steps i uploaded above is different with the card i received is because i just want to show u the steps. I just berlakon semula in the 1st and 2nd steps for the sake of sharing with my beloved ktards.

You see things like residue on that card? Ya its printed on my card. The printer sucks. Very bad quality.

I have to say that the printing quality is really sucks, but the design, placement and all is OK because its me who design it. Haha.
The material looks like a cheapo plastic card. The default debit card from Maybank is much better from this product. There's non-removeable printing artifacts on the card. Cheap printing. But ive paid for RM26 for this. Haish maybank.

Any /k have done this? Mind share.

I went 2 times to 2 branches, all give stupid excuse lazy to do for you. My advice, go to a Maybank thats not so many ppl and go early

No, thats a fake sms telling you to change that and after need RM12. Thats fake as indicated ay the maybank2u website.

But change still need to do.

Eh I remember last time got one forumer also try to custom made his Maybank card with this kind of image also, but Maybank rejected because of copyright issues

WHAT? man that is so cool, i didn't know that this feature existed.

Not sure about this month only free, but the reason they ask to change is because all card that can be like credit card (visa / master) will need to have pin number upon usage come 2017.

Maybe your mom card already expired. Because now Maybank card have visa, it will also have expiry date.

the residue probably cuz of dust/dirt when printing+laminating the top layer.

think of it like doing car window tinting. they technician tries to clean the window as dirt-free as possible, before applying the tint film.

I have changed last week before receiving the SMS notifcation.

The Visa paywave is nice, like touch n go. They even have that service is some of McD drive through already
