As a Wii owner, graphical capabilities has not much of a difference compared to the previous-gen Xbox and Gamecube. Just the control scheme change.

so the difference is just that the latest gen consoles got more features la? and i guess probably there are more details in the in-game graphics like for example in a football game, the crowd movements are more than previous gens where only some of the crowds are moving or cheering. am i right?

the leap are still smaller compared to PS->PS2 so far (software to hardware rendering)
more poly, more shader, high res texture, so far it is like last gen on steriods |

gfx is not the main factor anymore for games..
we should need more new inovations like nintendo has done in Wii that moves us closer to VR instead of just satisfying our needs for gfx.. i would definitely purchase nintendo wii over xbox360 and ps3 first..becoz that is something new for a console.. if you have a crappy tv,the enhancement is so so
if you have a crappy monitor and you download movies of the games(either 360/ps3) it is crap. but if you have a kick ass tv,the graphics are amazing. after the gathering this afternoon, went to DjiNn's shop, saw some people playing GoW on the outer tv....glorious. but when i download the trailer onto my com(yes, the HD ones) it looks so-so.. even screenshots look crap,imo.. only moving characters on a good tv can give next gen consoles justice. |

what he said,
there's a BIG difference in gfx terms over the last gen consoles to the current-gen. saw it in djinn's shop also but for me, the online features that counts. |

higher resolution and higher texture for this generation console.
if we want to feels the differance, we need better TV (higher resolution TV). me using 21 inc TV with my xbox 360, some game very hard to c the words. example "dead rising". if u wander want to buy new gen console or LCD TV. better go console 1st. U can feel the improvement, dont wory. LCD TV drop price day by day, now no the time to get it (if u short of money like me hehe). |

You won't see any difference for 360 if you're playing it on a normal tv as the extra graphical details are lost if you're playing it at 480P resolution. Trust me, you'll see the difference if you have a LCD and at 480P, the games looked like a souped up version of existing old XBOX games. Hahaha. That's why I forced myself to get a LCD tv just to play my 360.

The playing experience is heighten, but it's not a revelation either. Kinda sum it up from the new scenarios of many people selling their PS3.

360 and PS3....blown away dey. Its sooooo beautiful ur mind just start to melt......check out GRAW 2 while youre in the blackhawk in transit...check out the view of the city...city burning, smoke plumes....really really like a warzone. It's one step ahead, some may agree to disagree that rendered 3D may or may not look better than previous generation, but its without a doubt newer gen can handle much bigger scale to a point of being....EPIC? Hahaha.

I don't think there is much changes in term of graphics. Most likely bettter processers for more compliacted game programming.
