Let's just say you've only got the budget to buy 1 used FPS game.

Which would be it?

1. GOW
2. Lost Planet
3. COD3
4. *what else*

Would love to get GOW but am concerned that by the time I am competent enough in GOW, everyone would be playing Lost Planet already or something else on Live, which will then defeat the purpose of getting it.

Also, single player gaming, which is a better game?

1.GOW - the good: nice graphics and gameplay. the bad: story is short
2.Lost planet - dunno yet u should try the demo 1st. i havent try yet the multiplayer demo.
3.COD3 - thinking about getting it but need to save money for Forza 2. Multiplayers is not bad just like EA battlefield my fren keep poison me for buying COD3

gow and lost planet are 3rd person shooters.... cod3 is the only fps....so urm cod3 should be your top choice then hehehehe

GoW is probably the best game of them all though, however single player can be completed in like 5-7 hours * 3 for all difficulties = ~20 hours only.

Multiplayer is supposed to be addictive, but my xb360 wireless adaptor won't talk to my DI-624+ at all so I haven't been able to join the gay guys to ngeng >_<

Well... if talking about single player campaign, neither of them really provide adequate gameplays... sp is just the training ground for you to go live and get slaugthered

there will always be someone playing GoW online.at least till Gears 2 comes out

if u r really into with FPS, COD3 then...

but in my opinion, GoW or R6 Vegas is more like FPS but "more freedom" movement since u most like more aware with ur surrounding, thus i give a vote to GoW... the different is, its like FPS + 3rdPS.

if u never xperience with FPS +3rd PS before, GoW is really xcellent start. If u not sure, try watch some trailer from gamespot. Trust me, it made me unable to go back to FPS games...

I did watch the GOW trailers - but I guess I have to actually play the game to know what you're talking about.

As for me, I'm waiting for Assassin's Creed.
