Love her or hate her, Malaysian diva and popular DJ Leng Yein is someone the media can’t seem to ignore.

Chinese media around Malaysia has recently discovered that the popular DJ and plastic surgery advocate had recently started a romantic relationship with a manly hunk, but controversially a student in Malacca that is 8 years younger than her!


After months of keeping a tight wrap on her personal life, the DJ revealed last month that she is seeing a new man, but did not reveal who he was, explaining later saying she was afraid that her fame might disturb his studies and university life. The secret did not last long however, very soon the man was revealed to be 23-year-old Peter Siew (according to his Instagram) from Kuala Lumpur, but currently studying law in MMU Melaka.



When asked how the much younger man managed to steal the heart of the “queen”, Leng Yein told The Coverage that GG (a nickname given by Leng Yein, that meant Gym-Guy) is a helpless romantic, once driving all the way from Malacca to KL just to pick her up from the airport and send her home.

Also to tell off critics who might accuse of the younger boyfriend for being a gold digger, Leng Yein exclaimed that she never need to spend a single cent on her new love, and he’s chivalrous enough to pay for their outings every time. Leng Yein said herself that she fell head over heels for Peter, willing to give up all work just to accompany him to study.

Leng Yein had led a successful career in the DJing industry, and her ever sensuous appearance has led her to be named Asia’s hottest DJ for three years continuously. Prior to her career in music, she had led a successful career as a model, having won several pageants and car model awards.

While many choose to criticise her for her support for plastic surgery, many young women also look up to her as a role-model for her successful career, a fact that she had embraced. Aside from DJing, she also giving talks on topics social media and beauty, hoping that her experience will teach women how to stand up for themselves.

Despite all her critics and the occasional negative publicity, she said her only concern right now is Peter’s parents, who might not appreciate her career choice!
