I am still adoring the phone. Maybe because I'm still using note 2. Here's my pro and cons for now, mind u this phone is for my mom hence no real test yet. I'm a heavy phone user. I do it all on my phone. Graphics, business, accounts, excel sheets, customer databases u name it. My note 2 cant keep up anymore.
Pros
- 6 inch madness ! Once u go big u wont go small. I was among the earliest Note 1 user. Long live phablets !
- RAM is a plenty. Will solve all my ram hungry graphic intensive app. I made banners, flyers, fb ads images etc so 2GB does reach its limit when u are designing big images / banners.
- Premium feels. Nothing beats having a comfortable grip of you good looking phone. I bought the black one and it felt exclusive. I peeled off the 25 bucks ugly tempered glass (thank you expensive directd) and it is more handsome like that. Hope my mom wont drop it. And the black glass at the back. Hmmm... Love those glasses. Fingerprint magnet alert.
- Speaker kind of ok. A bit better than my note 2.
- Camera is ok too. Got the firmware update just now and it looks ok on the gorgeous screen.
- Screen. Might be in the same category of the 6 inch point but it deserve a new one. It is simply gorgeous! And it is kinda curved a bit at the edge. I believe samsung made all their new phone like this. But on a 6 incher? It looks wayyyy better.
- Battery. I didnt stress test it yet. But I hope the huge 5000 mAh battery will do its job. I mean 5000 man. That's like carrying a powerbank with u.
- Software. What's to hate? A polished latest version of android. Although the processor is not as good as note 5 and S7, it is still marshmellowy smooth. And maybe I'm new to this but the theme really change everything. Not just ur usual wallpapers and icons but also the color theme of the OS and even the keyboard. A little info though, u wont find video and music player the first time u switch the phone on. U can get it on samsung galaxy apps. It is free. So dont worry about that. There's a couple more galaxy apps u can download too there.
cons
- Quite heavy but still ok. Coming from a phablet user this wont be a problem. There's a trick to comfortably operating big phones with one hand. Always put ur pinky finger at the bottom of the phone as a holder. Bend it a bit and adjust ur palm and other fingers to support it. And ur thumb is free to do all what it want to do. I have fat fingers though, ppl with normal fingers will find it easier to use this method.
- Screen resolution
A big screen need bigger resolution. True in some cases but not necessarily a bad thing in other. My mom will find it comfortable to play with the phone. I am too but deep down in me i wish it can be sharper or the icons can be smaller. Dont ask me to use a launcher for it as i hate launchers. Maybe not the light ones that does the most important jobs.
Other than those, i dont find any reason to not encouraging ppl to buy this phone. It is a great phone for the price range. Although this is not in S and Note line, it is still a great phone by samsung.
Hope the community grows so I can find the damn casing easier ! LOL..

- Nice battery performance : can sustained 1 day with heavy internet surfing, heavy downloading full HD movies & uploading, heavy high graphic gaming, transfer big large of files from EXT HDD, play youtube videos, play full hd movies.
- Rear camera looks good but cannot beat Note 5 and S6 Edge+
Cons
- Quiet heavy
- Heating issue.. when turning off the power saving, and downloading big large of files, can feels the heat. heating temperature also can be feels when playing the heavy graphic games when not turn on power saving
- Front camera looks sluggish like cheap camera
- No 60 fps video recording (that's TOOOO BAD for me...)
- The camera looks terrible when comparing with Note 5, S6 Edge+ even it's built with 16MP rear cams and 8MP for front cams (I am Note 5 & S6 Edge+ user)
