Hi, im looking to buy a property, a studio unit...is it a good buy? Long term?
2.8k salary can buy a studio unit? No commitment so far, able to save 1/3 of my current salary...no bank loan so far

u set aside 50% of your salary for repayment. if u can afford, than can buy la...
but loan amount too little, put in more downpayment or join name.

As long as keep your monthly liability (including the studio loan monthly instalment) lower than 70% of your 2.8k salary, then should be no problem for you to get your house loan.

250k studio may need 25k down payment, plus SNP, loan agreement fees, can go up to 30k at least. Do you have enough savings for that?

Once you have all these then only can consider to buy a property otherwise don't think about it

With 2.8K salary, surely insufficient. Better work harder and save more first. Alternatively, consider renting.
