how can you tell what type of error is it? and how can i tell whether the server is connected? I opened startGUI.bat and i'm able to go to the folders shown in the first post.

my tracker status just stated "can't connect tracker("diff number depending on torrent"), waiting 60s to retry..." I'm using bitcomet 0.7

what else can i do?

it is very easy. PAW require java, i suppose if you ever used azureus you have java jre installed. if not go get it.

PAW is a sourceforge project (open sauce! yum!) unzip PAW into folder. look for the conf edit:FOLDER. edit the "headers-request" file so it looks like :

#---------------------------------------------------------------#
# Request Headers
#---------------------------------------------------------------#
# Allows the manipulation of request headers.
# Headers left blank will be deleted from the
# request.
#---------------------------------------------------------------#
# Mask as Mozilla
#User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.0; en-US; rv:0.9.4.1) Gecko/20020314 Netscape6/6.2.2

#User-Agent: Mozilla/4.78 [en] (Win98; U)

# Mask as Microsoft IE 6.0

# Mask as Microsoft IE 5.5

double-click "startServer.bat" and you should see a cmd window with some words in it. do not close this window!

change your bt client to use proxy 127.0.0.1 and port 8080.

double-click "startGUI.bat" and if you havent change admin password you should auto login. click on the "eye" icon to look at the logs.

it should be working. i dont use bitcomet so i dunno anything about it, sorry. i suggest utorrent because it is working for me.

cheers.

I've followed everything you posted, but the server log stated a 404 error... anything i can do about that? I've tried restarting the client as well.

secure-tunnel cost money right? and it is a "modification" too ain't it?

i think we're already paying enuf for "broad"band tmnut style.

i don't think it is right to spend more money to "solve" tmnut doings - i can use this money for thatching my leaking roofs first.  hmm.gif ?
