i am looking to buy some cheap DIY tools. I went to mrdiy kepong and mrdiy putra mall, both very small shop with limited hardware section. So don't have.

Anyone knows of any mr diy outlet that is big and more complete around KL/PJ area? Something like the SS2 mall last time.

ACE hardware is overpriced and online lelong shops also selling overpriced.

Never mentioned Ace Hardware Mid Valley here. How about that place? I'm going to lay tiles on my floor next couple of month. Looking for trowels, spacer, sponge, squiggee, knee pad etc. I already have a looked at some shops, but the quality not quite good.

No.

ACE hardware doesn't sell the items overpriced.

They just sell quality and branded items.
Branded = good = not cheap.

Thank you.

Where are you based in? Kepong branch is quite moderate. If you nearby kepong, you might wanna visit The Curve branch and Tesco Mutiara Damansara branch.

Both are quite near to each other just walking distance. Otherwise, Selayang Mall

Just buy online if you can wait.

Hakko or Welder and it will last you a very long time.

Soldering lead, buy those with flux inside.

Hmm, I can't compare with Mines cos I've never been there before.

If traffic isn't heavy this weekend + you didn't get to see your items at that outlet, maybe try visiting a few in the vicinity?

Like Sg Wang branch, Fahrenheit etc in KL.

PJ area also have several like Starling, Citta Mall etc.

Much depends on the stock at those outlets too, sometimes I manage to get something from branch A whilst branch B doesn't even have it.

Have fun shopping bro!
