So there is a guy that is selling his faulty d700 for only rm900 His problem is that the autofocus system can't work like before already because he dropped it on the floor approximately 1 foot high, the autofocus can only focus object that is very near I am wondering is it worth my money and risk ?

QUOTE(mrmikelim @ Jul 11 2016, 06:32 PM) So there is a guy that is selling his faulty d700 for only rm900 His problem is that the autofocus system can't work like before already because he dropped it on the floor approximately 1 foot high, the autofocus can only focus object that is very near I am wondering is it worth my money and risk ? Simple answer.....no, not really. Plus it's faulty, you really want to deal with the technical hassle? It could be a goal mine, if it can be repaired at reasonable price but I won't bet on it. Pretty sure the owner already attempted that. Search on amazon I can find used D700, cheapest around USD350 + shipping. In Malaysia, around RM2500.

Forget it. Even a used entry level would be better.
