My city air conditioning sometimes have a loud "tat"" sound when the electromagnetic clutch mechanism disengages. Engage sound is normal, where all car has it but when it disengages there is quite a loud sound. The service center claimed that the sound is normal. All city hv the sound. Can anyone confirmed this?

QUOTE(stratocaster @ Sep 26 2016, 08:20 PM) hey all city owners, can I check where can I buy the door handle protector film? The edge of the protector film will turn black or dirty after sometimes. More obvious if your car is white color.u know the film that protect the door handle 'inside'(not the handle) from getting scratched when opening the door? thanks! if you see behind the door handle, got many small minute scratches due to fingernail ! and apparently this is normal... |

When locked, sound come back. Hesistate to ask SC to check. They may make the sound worst. Hopefully one day the sound will dissapeared.best way to solve rattles in ur car is by DIYing urself.. claimed with SC is just a waste of time..most of them dont know how to tackle it |

QUOTE(95397 @ Oct 13 2016, 09:23 AM) Me at Setapak area. I went to Sri Utama Seevice Center. I installed pedal lock which come with starter immobilizer socket (switch). But I removed it myself after 1 week. Because I heard other users complaint cannot start the engine due to pedal lock switch problem.Updates on my car problem, the problem seems not the starter motor. *sweat* My car again cannot start on the same night after replacement of starter motor. Next day jump start didn't work and towed to SC again. This time after half day checking they identified culprit is my break pedal lock wiring for immobilizer. They say my pedal lock (redbat brand) installed outside car accessory shop, immobilizer wiring got loosen/connectivity problem, giving false signal to inhibit the car startup. So what they did is unplug one of the main connection to disconnect the pedal lock immobilizer wiring connection to the car electronic system and ask me go back to accessory shop for change However the SC lead technician suggest better just not connect the pedal lock imobilizer, only use the mechanical lock. Now I am using the car 2 days already everything seems fine, wanna monitor few more days. Saturday will go back to the car accessory shop to remove all wiring (plug and play) of the pedal lock. |

QUOTE(fattchai @ Nov 8 2016, 09:52 PM) I sent my car for 1k service last time. I put my sunglasses inside the drawer. After the service, when i collect car, i found my sunglasses left on the driver seat and it have TAKEN OUT from the box. I think they remove the drawer when inspect the aircond filter. Your sunglass may drop out and left on your seat.Just wonder what the SC guy did to my car and why my sunglasses left on my seat. |

QUOTE(shawnsean @ Nov 30 2016, 10:25 PM) I did. Chose it because no recoat needed during that few years. 1300 is probably the sls3 package. I took the sls7 package for 1888. Thicker. They also have Ala CaRte menu where body coating alone is 1000 for sls3 and 1688 for sls7. Package adds on 1 free maintenance and tyre and rim coating I choosed SL9 extra gloss coating (premium). Cost me RM3288! With 4 years warranty. |
