Hi,

Finally get my City E Spec Modern Steel.

SA told me if tinting outside will void the 5 years warranty, is it true?

one wise city user used to said to me "if u want to follow honda warranty, then even ur tyre also need to be the one u got on 1st day"  tongue.gif

to directly answer ur question: NO

i installed tint outside n then last month my driver side window got problem. SC directly repair without asking anything eventhough they can see clearly the "Raytech" marking on the tint

Noted with thanks. :-)

How much does your tinting cost?

Is there any recommendation for tinting and coil mat as well?

Thanks.

Does anyone know roughly how much to tint all car windows?

Apart from Solartint in Damansara Uptown, is there any recommended shop which offers a good deal for tinting and nice workmanship?

Thank you.

Solartint (Damansara Uptown) is closed today. So I don't know the price yet.

Coolworld tint is good so far?

What is your budget? Recently tinted mine at Llumar Bukit Jalil. Price quite reasonable. (RM1k can get entry level security tint)

My budget is around 1k. I would like to have tint with maximal heat rejection.

You can go to Solartint in Damansara Uptown. They have the best handiwork so far and they do have roll coil mat as well where they can custom cut to spec.

Just get the quotation. Coil mat is around RM 240 before GST.

Tint. Front 95% IR rejection, others 85% = RM1600
Tint. Front 95% IR rejection, others 75% = RM1000.

Do you guys think the price is reasonable? I care mostly on the heat rejection. Do you think 75% and 85% will make a significant difference?

Thank you.

How about the TSER (Total Solar Energy Rejected)? What and brand?

For coil mat, I just got mine today @ RM140.

Solartint.

I get to know another brand Goldirex, which is much cheaper. Do anyone come across this brand? Of quality?

The total solar energy rejected will indicate for heat rejection as well?

The technician just told me the TSER is (IR rejection - 35%). If the IR rejection is 89%, then the TSER is 54%.
