hey guys

I am interested in fixing a reverse camera and tinted glass for my car.

Thank you all so much biggrin.gif

New 2016 city owner here.
Discusssed with my honda saleman and he sold and installed a RM300 reverse camera. My fren 2 years ago bought for rm450 and can only installed side of rear. Mine is exactly at rear of boot for latest city version (2016).

Tint price varies with brand and quality. Some cost 1k plus like my bro but i just got a 1.6k for ecotint for better heat protection and security tint. To be honest I cant feel the difference.

Going to install next auto lock on speed and auto side mirror flip next. These should be cheap modules to install and it's crazy the first page advertise so expensive prices. wink.gif

Question.. I usually renew insurance online and renew roadtax.
For honda cars under HIP, do you guys stop by a showroom to renew insurance so can be under HIP? No other way to do online?

Recommended the full set. It's not perfect, but from afar you wont notice it and after few days you wont care too.

Gonna place a samsung tab screen guard on my LCD screen for dust free touch screen. Hopefully results are good. hmm.gif

Guys .. If you drive above 140 KM/H did your car drive stable and straight ?

Mine feel very wobbly. Like angin lintang left and right. I usually never drive above 130 but today when I did I feel very scare because not stable.
*
I once cruised 140km/h on penang second bridge. Smooth ride like butter. Can sleep soundly.
Sometimes it's the road condition, sometimes the car.
Mine is 17' tyre.

anyone of you changed the remote's battery before? should i change it with Honda or can be changed just like any other remote control? thank you!
*
Once open battery you can see the type, all round. Can buy from ikea, mr DIY or common key shop.
Never go SC center for things you can do yourself super easily unless you wanna get overcharged.

If off centered, adjust the steering wheel height and distance maybe?

^u have a good SA. Mine took almost 1 & a half month
*
Got in 8 days. Of course no trouble with loan approval...and that's including plate transfer from old car via runner which the honda agent employs.

Maybe due to closing of financial year of 2015/2016 at 31 August. Maybe your SA reached quota and want hold you off until next month.
Whatver it is, very shitty deal you got here mate.

Hi all, is there possible to lock my car with key then unlock with key?? means without using the alarm.. Mine is E spec..  When I went collect my car that time the salesman teach me how to stop the alarm when sound, so he unlock with key.. Coz I going overseas 1 week, the car will be park at home.. my parents worry the alarm sound suddenly they don't know how to stop it..
*
I think your agent showing how to disable the immobelizer alarm in event somebody try to jack your car. i dont think your key will disable the alarm.
You should know the combination press to disable it. Or if dunno, check one of the book that comes with your car manual.
just tell them the combination. if they're old school, write on paper the step by step how-to press.

any being told by SA that lunar silver is low stock now and need to wait 1-2 weeks?
*
Sound like bullshit, it's almost end of financial year so maybe SA wants a sale next month rather than this month so his sales statistics look good.

Cruising on N wont damage your city but it's a serious safety issue which some countries even dictate as illegal. Unless you're cruising downhill 800m, there's no significant cost saving either.

If x tray more expensive than E variant, it'll be really dumb to buy it since you can so so cheaply add the DRL leather stuff at third party. Leather might cost a bit but DRL is cheap. A couple of RM to slap a friggin X label. Even the bodykit I install comes with DRL.

Might be true as said by others that they trying to get rid of old stocks.

I use RM46 for 385km trip. Around 8.3km/RM1. But the first 350km is all highway, sometimes autocruise sometimes speed like mad. If only i autocruise more surely FC much lower but the highway so empty and tempting.

oh ok thanks will check it out..any website or contact for GS sports kuchai lama?
..now the BIG question again...will warranty void for installation outside honda authorized sc..
considering the price of 3.5k for full bodykit vs outside 1-1.4k...
not to mention footlight rm600 vs rm100?

same goes to door visor, LED side step..etc.. cry.gif

confused.gif in dilemma...cause warranty 5 years!!
*
Aiyo dont dilemma over small stuff. Warranty you need worry about is when gearbox, engine or suspension damage. Install bodykit or led door step wont do that stuff.

Bodykit is mostly plaster to your chasis, where can damage these parts? For lighting parts, always go for plug and play stuff otherwise dont.

And if these three problem things occur, go any shop and tell them to dismantle your modifications. done less than hour then call honda to tow car away.

If you;re still scared, then don't change anything. Save your money also. Otherwise, i'll pm you a place in selangor that gives cheap bodykit, pedal lock and all honda accessories. Sad to say I only went this shop to install a few accesory, major stuff I install in another place which is abit more expensive!

Bro that looks gorgeous. Any links to dealer or seller?

Just to share, I trace, paste and cut carbon fibre sticker at my heads up unit / v spec honda city not for style. It eliminates dust attraction to zero. Always hated dust but i still use my dust wiper at the touch screen because cannot paste sticker there icon_idea.gif .

It's a fact proton cars has the coolest AC. I ride my friend's saga and felt cold as winter. My old myvi has cooler AC. Luckly I get cooled easily and sometimes wish I can set auto to higher than 28 degrees.
