I getting a e-spec city very soon, this is the 1st CVT car I will own.

I heard Honda City have CVT durability issue in earlier version (2003-2007), would like to know did they solve the issue in this version? Any one of you who using this version still facing gear issue after the recall?

And how do we take good care of CVT, other than sending my car to SC, I would like to know more knowledge about it? I plan to use it for more than 10 years.. Lol..

Please do not bash me lo.. I been asking uncle google alot but still didnt find a satisfy answer.

Hi, do you guys encounter rattling sound from the dashboard while crusing on uneven road highway?

I checked the dashboard everything is clip nicely, still sound is coming out from no where..

Beside, any diy soundproofing can be done to the car? Sound insulation is pretty bad when driving above 100km/h...

Yes, even from my passenger seat at the back and from druver side door.. but i just ignore that sound as it not too obvious..

There are still some noise when i cruising on highway at 100km/h speed.. those road noise and engine noise..

I got my city 2 week ago and got 8.5k discount.. Recently i saw fb someone post up to 9.5k discount..

I understand there is a mystery kruk sound at 40km/h and HM already claim it is normal..

I just wonder does everyone here got this sound or just few unit? Sometime i got scared by this sound.. lol..

I found the original paint is very thin.. i just wash my car few time then can see some tiny wipe scratch on the paint already..

Any idea how to avoid it in cheap way? Maybe diy wax or what?

I just sent my city for 1st service this morning. After the service, i found out the gear shift abit loosen. I didnt aware of this issue previously. Do u guys have this problem?

I sent my car for 1k service last time. I put my sunglasses inside the drawer. After the service, when i collect car, i found my sunglasses left on the driver seat and it have TAKEN OUT from the box.

Just wonder what the SC guy did to my car and why my sunglasses left on my seat.

My City came with B pillar soundproof, between the front and back door..

U guess later badge of City added in..

Mine max is 15km/l only.. is it my car still new and under break in period? I just clock 1.5k km only..

Different dealer SA give different discount rate. I got mine 8.5k discount at pj 222 branch. I see some other forumer got 9.5k discount. You can try your luck by asking different dealer.
