yea i think ok.. before this heard they say discount for S and S+ is 1k lower than E and V.. so if S can get 7k i think its a good deal dy.. maybe u can see what other members think about it..  thumbup.gif
*
coz now they want to clear stock. they knew lesser and lesser ppl wanna get S+ or even S .... not point getting S or S+ .... and hardly seen it on the road nowadays ... its very easy to differentiate based on the radio antenna and rim ...

I am thinking of getting the new City and I noticed that there is no temperature gauge for the engine. Just the hot and cold indicator. Are we suppose to stop immediately when the heating light comes up or if we don't how much time do we have?
*
best question of the year ... i dont think my wira have temperature gauge and i drove it for 13yrs..... only hot and cold .. so , whats the matter ?

since the SC did the reset and it doesn't solve, so can say its "normal" to have that jerk sensation then  hmm.gif
*
dont think so . there must be somewhere faulty . gonna force sc to do a checkup

i didnt manage to go to SC.... been very busy lately.... you oso facing the same problem?
*
I have the same problem . Jerk when u brake from 40km/h till stop .

Most of the time during slow speed ,like 40km/h... During acceleration from 0-60km/h,can feel the something like gear changing .

only happen recently after 25k km mileage .

No such issue previously .

Will visit SC tis Saturday . Mostly tiongnam setia alam. Let them diagnose .but I cannot leave my car there as I will be having my wedding dinner next Saturday .... brows.gif

QUOTE(Hornet @ Sep 11 2016, 12:16 AM)
Hi all, just recently bought a new Honda City
Would like to get advice on something

I remember last time (many years ago since my last car tongue.gif) a car manual use to have a list of do and don't during the break in period (first 1000km), including not to go above certain speed.

For City I only notice a small part stating not to do sudden acceleration or full throttle
during the first 1000km. (I've seen some people saying break in period is no longer important for modern car, not sure about this though)

My question is, is it ok if I start driving at highway now at 110-120 kmph before the break in period is over?
Any other special care I should take

Thanks a lot biggrin.gif
*
110km/h is normal speed ...not really high speed .avoid 160km/h in this period ...
QUOTE(bla2sheep @ Sep 8 2016, 10:17 PM)
woa! congratz!!! please let us know wat is the outcome from their diagnose ya!!!
*
Now at Honda tiongnam ..let's see if they able to let me know the outcome by today or not

Hi Bro, did SC say anything on the issues? are they able to solve it?
*
Standard reply .

1.no error code in ecu . Which I knew it before sending to Honda SC.

2.normal CVT jerk.

3.cvt oil level no leaking and within the level.

But . After I took my car , the jerking seem acceptable . Not that serious ....gonna monitor the FC .
