My friend changed 195/50/16 Continental MC5 and I on same sized Hankook Optimo.

Hankook wins on both handling and noise

How's the diff compare to the original gy excellence?
How much is that Hankook Optimo?

Aircon service? Hahaha. It's just a way to make more money. To me, don't service o do anything to it unless there is problem. Just need to change cabin filter when it's dirty.

Anyone here had faulty rear wheel bearing before? I'm having it, almost 30k km. Seems bearing quality is lousy. Sending in next week to confirm n claim warranty. So said need to order part if confirm bearing, and 2 weeks wait. Crap...

bro how did you find out  have faulty rear wheel bearing yah? is it some sound or not smooth drive?
*
It's growling noise from rear. Jack up the car and turn the wheels to find the faulty 1. Faulty wheel bearing will have noise when it's spinning. Otherwise, it's smooth spinning.

After checking, SC said it is starter motor faulty, battery no problem. So they change new starter motor under warranty claim. No charges to me but spend half a day in SC lo.
*
wah..so efficient, thought honda procedure is to order part and ask customer to wait.

I will be visiting sc for my passenger's side rear wheel bearing problem tomorrow. And last week, i did ask whether they have ready part, and sc said need to order and wait for 2 weeks... rclxub.gif

I went to the more larger SC at my area. Also think I'm lucky that they have ready stock spare parts.
What is wrong with your rear wheel bearing?
*
Rear bearing gave way. Making howling noise d.
Which sc did u go to? Maybe I should call up to check if they have ready part for replacement. I'm in pj area.

Claimed rear bearing today after waiting for part 1 week. 30k km bearing failure. Pls take note ya. Sc said some less than 20k km failed. Sc said bearing depends on luck I think part quality is questionable.

May 2014. Bearing noise... Growling... Or humming? Depends on how severe it is.
If suspect bearing noise, jack up the car n spin the wheel n listen. Bearing failure will produce noise, while a working bearing is noise free at low spinning rpm.

My CVT was jerk when low speed during traffic jam . Tried advise from Proton Iriz thread

Change ur gear from N > D > N > R > N for 3-5x .... each gear change stop for at least 5seconds .

This works for my case. Can feel the difference right after that

tachlio kindly put on 1st page ..thanks  notworthy.gif

CVT clutch Adaption
*
CVT adaptation? Dont think it's necessary as our cvt box has a torque converter.
When jam, u can feel the torque converter lock up around 30km/hr or so. Nothing serious

CVT adaptation probably for clutch based cvt only.

Anyone experienced humming noise during slow down? especially around 20-0 km/hr ? Dont think it's bearing noise now. Already claimed 1 rear wheel bearing last month. I suspect it's something else.
