Yeah, I've flashed to OE-C. It loads faster than before. thumbup.gif

But then, I've to re-flash my custom XMB again.. sweat.gif

EDIT: I need no flashing, now OE-C can access flash0 via USB. Just copy and paste instead. smile.gif

Those who have bought a GTA:LCS 2.0 UMD after the a 2.71 downgrader was released must feel like kings now.
*
And tot31 is da KING now! And what more? He offers a downgrade service for all. rclxms.gif

Perhaps after this PSPs price with FW1.5 will drop like there's no tomorrow (maybe not?). And yeah, cheaper PSP for all. To run homebrew, all we need is a downgrader service (aka Mr tot31) or an unpatched GTA:LCS UMD. Good news for all indeed! Hoping to see more and more dev in the homebrew world. Hey, it's a great news for SONY too. They'll sell more PSPs, and with that sales figure more tittles are coming for us, hopefully! laugh.gif

Oh w-ell, I guess the old topmenu plugin is not compatible with 3.10 OE (at least for now). No upgrading for me, I just hate the old XMB icons. laugh.gif

If you plan on changing the topmenu, don't upgrade just yet. Or else, you'll semi-bricked your PSP. Let's just wait for the topmenu gen, it'll be available soon.

EDIT: Aiseh, you beat me to that. It's just a hassle to go back to FW 1.5, and upgrade from there. tongue.gif

King83: There's a hack for MAC Address, called PSP MAC Address changer. Yeah, for bragging rights purpose only. We can't change the REAL MAC address, its within the hardware itself (the WiFi card). Anyway, If anyone interested, here's the link of the MAC changer.

Here's my XMB Wave effects, got it from MaxConsole.net. Credits to z33.

By the way, I haven't upgraded yet. I refuse to upgrade because of topmenu. tongue.gif

figure8: Care to share the topmenu? Thanks.

QD: Just read up the tutorial at MaxConsole or something. It's pretty staright forward. And by the way, you can't change your XMB icon in FW 3.10 OE.

Added on February 8, 2007, 10:59 pmThanks figure8! I've changed my topmenu.. I like! wub.gif

Wei, different folks with different strokes. Not everyone shares the same interest with the same thing. If you thing the original icons are great then stick to it. Some ppl think the original icons sucks so that's why they changed it. Because can't/don't how to do it don't say bash them lar. It was the same situation when you no nuts about Dark Alex's custom firmware (yeah you was too chicken/scared shit to do it) and you did bash ppl who are using it and was praising like hell about Devhook.
*
Yeah, different ppl with different preferences. And he did call a few ppl noobs.. tongue.gif

I used to PM tot31 when I bought my PSP, he never bothered to reply (I know you were annoyed LOL). Yeah, I was a total noob too. But then, I try every single thing myself. Learn this and that, I RTFM and all. And now, at least I got to do everything on my own. And thanks tot31 for not replying my PMs, I learned alot. Well, not in a bad way, a good thing for me at least (not to spoon fed kinda thing). smile.gif

I bought the clone 2000mAH for about RM50. It was last year, can't really remember the exact date but it's still working fine.
*
Mind telling me, where? I've always ran out batt. I need more batteries, how wish there's an attached-on AAA PSP charger locally. Is there any?

Plus, I'm using this bloody CD211. When I get bored on a game I played, I can transfer at ease.

Oh shoot! I totally forgot... I'll write again, without the "word". It's not mainly with that kinda files, any files (pictures, videos, etc.). Ok, again. I got this little problem. Whenever I deleted any files on my PSP, it seems that my MSPD space didn't change or reduce at all! I have like to format the MSPD, in order for me to copy any new files. It's weird, and such a pain in the arse. really! Anyone had this problem before? Or perhaps it's my MSPD, faulty or something. And what's more worse, I forgot to back up saved games! There goes my MGS:PO saved game, and characters! Haihs. sad.gif

Added on February 20, 2007, 12:29 amMy latest XMB. Thanks bro, figure8!! thumbup.gif

It happened to me only once. Deleted a file, but the file still stays in explorer. And coincidentally i also forgot to back up my save games when i formatted. This was on my Sandisk 2GB MSPD.

I solved it already I guess. I need to delete the files within the XMB.

No problems so far, "ahem", music or video files. It shows the correct space left after deletion.. smile.gif

It remain forever if you stick to that firmware. If you upgraded or downgraded, it'll be back to normal Sony's XMB icons.

And the current new 3.10OE FW cannot use custom icons. smile.gif

Oh darn! I was playing around with flash0 files, actually was too excited to try undertaxxx new black XMB.

In the process of copying the files, I accidentally deleted few files. I did try to copy the files back (my flash0 backups), I can't! It bloody says that my flash0 space was full.

It's just so sad! Now, any suggestions of unbricking service? Any shop that has mobo changing service? Thanks. cry.gif
