Probably a fake card corrupted your data?

http://boardsus.playstation.com/playstatio...hread.id=184468

Use your old way to install SVC again.

Fake card?
Never crossed my mind before.

My first card was a fake. It corrupted one of my mp3s just like you.
Then the whole thing got corrupted.
Then I threw it away.

how do i rename the screenshot names?
i took some screenies last night, and a few minutes ago while playing a game, took somemore screenies, and it overrode my screenshots taken last night! cry.gif doh.gif

besides taking them out the instant i've taken the screenies, anyway to ensure it doesnt get overwritten by mistake?

In the seplugins folder, there's a capture.ini. Open it and change Overwrite to No.

At 333Mhz, the PSP will drain the battery faster.
Don't clock at 333Mhz if you don't have to. The difference is only noticeable in 3D fast action games such as Wipeout Pure at Rapier and Phantom Class. Gamplay performance in games like Killzone and Lumines is not noticeably different in 333Mhz.

Lots of people are playing at 333Mhz but I've not read any reports that the wifi chip got damaged. I also play at 333Mhz.

I never plug in the charger while playing because it's quite warm already. Charging will heat up the battery too. Don't want to have any unnecessary heat generation.

Just a question: Does Cintro work now?

The most 'adventurous' of PSP owners flash a completely custom firmware into PSP, replacing the official Sony one. Most of these recent posts are tiny cosmetic changes on their custom firmware; hardly adventurous at all, but totally cool nonetheless!

These adventurous types daringly flash custom firmwares from Dark Alex like 2.71SE or 3.03OE into their PSPs. smile.gif

I use 3.03OE-B because it's the highest firmware that can use Cintro. In addition, I renamed my Location-Free TV to Shutdown PSP, my Network Updates to FTP Daemon. I like the original icons too but I like to rename those items more.

Just rename the 303oeflasher (make sure the DATA.DXAR for 3.03OE is in this folder)  to RECOVERY and put it into /PSP/GAME folder and go to Recovery Menu and select 'Use /PSP/GAME/RECOVERY/EBOOT.PBP'.

You don't have to go back to 1.50. Just to save time.
*
What about the 303oeflasher% folder? Do you leave it or delete it?

Nevermind. I found that 303oeflasher% folder can be deleted.

A new battery plugin that reveals the percentage on the xmb is out, but you got to press the note button, so it conflicts with the svcapture plugin. Going to try it out now.

__________________________

The battery plugin works in both the xmb and in games. It doesn't replace the battery icon on the top right. It is displayed on the bottom right, something like the mp3 plugin that also reveals clock speed.

This is probably useful if you want to know your battery level but don't want to interrupt your movie or music.

It flicks very rapidly, but still readable. I think it's something to do with the screen refreshing. The MP3 plugin display is also the same. Anyway, it's better than nothing.

i tried to hold while turning it on, still cannot

Added on February 21, 2007, 10:18 pmBtw, am i doing it the right way ?

After downgrading to 1.5, i straight away installed the 3.10oe

Did you try a full shutdown? Hold up the power switch on your PSP for 5 seconds to fully shut it down. Then turn on your PSP while holding R. 3.10OE boots up real fast so you better hold down R before starting up and you'll get the recovery menu.

Hey Shiney, have you tried the new remapped svcapture? Now the buttons assigned for screen capture are L and R trigger buttons. I downloaded the .ini file, replaced mine but still does not work. I disabled it and re-enabled it from the recovery menu, I tried timing the L and R presses as closely as possible, but still no effect. Any ideas?
