C:\Documents and Settings\Use>psppandoramsinst>msinst x msipl.bin
does anyone know if this command is correct?i tried but it says it's not recognised... rclxub.gif

msinst [Your PSP MSPD Drive] msipl.bin
Example : msint f msipl.bin

make sure you the Installer create msipl.bin on the root of the MSPD.

i think if you plug in the charger with the jigkick battery in your psp it will startup normally? as long as you're not using the battery's power to startup your psp it wouldn't run the special menu. i think lar.

I also not sure yet cos i haven't try.. wanna try it out when i got spare batt.

You can make the battery to operate as normal. That's why I say it's really cool. I did it to my original battery and original 1Gig MSPD. Tried on my 3rd party battery, it didn't properly flash the serial number but fortunately it's working fine...hahahaha I thought I've brick my battery.

Guys I need some help. Sorry if it's been asked before.

My PSP is running on firmware 3.40 OE-A...
Anyway, whenever I turn it on, it just shows a blank screen while the 'memory stick' light keeps blinking.

The only way to fix this is to access the recovery menu then 'exit'. And it's very troublesome to do.

Another thing is, the settings in the recovery menu don't save after I reboot my PSP.

Something corrupted in the firmware?

Any ideas what this is and how to fix it? Should I just straight away upgrade my firmware to 3.52 M33?

Thanks. smile.gif
