Can I use apple iWeb to design my website and not post it on .mac?

If I can, how do I do it.

Are there any requirements on my web hostings?

havent used iWeb before so not sure if it works.
but what i gather from the site, its just saving the files into a folder instead of using the "Publish" button where you can then upload the files onto any webhosting site via FTP.

tell me if it works out.
