why games instead of movies? a couple of incident where skool crimes that were commited were related to the games they played.. like whn they "pull a columbine" in skool.. i think that kid confested becos whn he played gta.. it made him invicible.. so, he decided to do it in skool n killed his fren.. stupeed dumbarse... i wonder if there's any of the "PULL A CHAINSAW"? on ur frens in skool..

i thought the kid was inspired by DOOM? IINM, i read tht the kid said (about the shotgun he brought to school) it was "like something out of DOOM", or something like that.
anyway, i sincerely think tht this mr. jack "i wish i could kill him with a" Thompson should actually attack the flawed execution of game ratings by retailers. what in the blue hell is ESRB for?
u have M games, but still it's being bought by 10 yr olds. whenever a game comes out, it HAS to go thru ESRB for a reason. and IINM, GTA already got M rating (with the exception of San Andy cos of the Kopi Panas incident) so why are the politicians so pissed off and scared tht kids will buy it?
it's all becos of poor governance, be it from the retailers or the parents at the very core. fine, they can say "we must eliminate the source" which is said game developer, but where are our rights to entertainment freedom?
politicians are a bunch of crap. go ass crazy on something more important, obvious and globally affecting issues. like..i dunno...the genital-less Texan who is Bush maybe?
fortunately, we still don't have cases of kids here emulating GTA and God forbid let our young generation be dumb enough to do what those kids in the yew-ass-of A are doing.
OT: i remember there was a concern over wrestling on TV and kids emulating it and they wanted to ban wrestling. well, what about the kid who hanged himself because he emulated Saddam's execution which was shown on the news? Ban the news now eh?
