EA is probably the biggest games developer/publisher on the planet.

it has games ranging from action adventure to sports to racing...

if they were to come out with their OWN console,would you buy it?


forget about 3rd party developed games,their console would have sole rights to games like FIFA,NFS,etc...(yes,i know there are alternatives like WE,GT out there,but they're just examples)

so,would you buy it?

ps.what i would like to know,is would SEGA support them or not...

nope.. mostly the game can be found in PC format.. just like Xbox.

It will depends on many factors b4 ppl buying a console..Just like ps3/wii..need attract consumer only got demand

I don't think the world needs another console :/ ........ EA should focus on making games good instead.......

yaa.. furthermore, they have to consider on who will make games for them.. is it enough to compete with other next gen console? or they want to make a next next gen console? hehehe..

i would definitely wont buy the console even if it's cheap , because currently there are so many games console available in the market now Ps one is still selling ,ps 2 , xbox ,xbox 360 , sooner ps3 will arrive and dont forget nintendo wii is also coming , why do we need so many consoles ?? besides we also got handheld gaming war between DS,PSP , N-gage , dont forget our pc as well ? i admit that eletronic arts is a very good and creative game developers but lets just concenctrate on the current games console .

ever heard of panasonic 3do? ea games founder conceived the console...it was a major flop despite it's cutting edge technology in its time...

EA games are feels very american which I don't like. Their games are always MADDEN, NBA, and those sports simulation stuff.

i pass the preorder for CnC tiberium war... gonna wait until it enter classic title and it release all the expension.... in the meantime.... replaying first decade and lotr bme 1 for me...

EA rarely make great games. Each year the just update an existing title, patach up here and there and sell it as a new title. This is true for esspecially for their sports games like Madden or Fifa.

To make their own console is a bad move. I will not buy it if they relase it today. Face it, they don't have unique title (yet) that people will buy if they decide to make it exclusively for their platform only.

But EA is the largest third-party publisher in the world. Maybe if they aquire more and more small studios and monopolize the video games industry we will have no choice but to buy their games and console

100% agreed! plus, they rarely make new and original games. they just know how to milk their old franchises. well, yeah i guess you can't blame them making new madden/nba/etc... games every year cos of all the roster updates and stuff, but, uhh... where's the new gameplay?
