guys,

let's say i get myself a gigabyte 965P-DS3 and a E6300 ...
what is the minimum overclock speed that is easily achievable ?
seems like 3ghz is a 'normal overclock' for everybody, even if using the stock HSF ...

i see that most of you guys are using 7 for the multiplier and the FSB is over 430mhz for most of u ... anybody here not having 'good luck' at overclocking E6300?

i'm also pretty tight on budget here ... any suggestion for the DDR2 for this E6300 and the 965P DS3? (with tight budget in mind ..)

is DDR2 PC5300 1gb (2x512mb) gud enuff?

wow ...there'll be a new overclocker on the street ...

core 2 duo e4300 ... just look at how good it overclocks with DS3 ... can even beat stock X6800 ...damn

at stock speed it's just a bit behind e6300 ..but when oc'ed, it rocks! not bad for a 'cheap' overclocker

hmm with a good mobo i'm sure it can go more than 3.2ghz, at least ...
errr ur mobo is agp one ah? or it has both pcie and agp?
what chipset is it on?

man .. seeing u guys having OC upto 4ghz+ makes me wanna go buy new mobo ..

currently only using an el-cheapo mobo asrock 775dual-vsta (previously was using an agp card+ddr1 , now moved to 8500ge already) ..

my humble rig :
e4300 @ 2.56ghz 285x9 (mobo can only go max 285, if not i would have OC to 3.2ghz if possible, LOL!)
1gb kvr ddr2 667

so, which 775 mobo is cheap but still good at OC ?
is there any in the range of rm250 ah?
seems like all good mobos in the 400-600 price range already ...haih
