We are all multi purpose people, we would like to open dreamweaver work on illustrator then go to photoshop while listening to music and downloading stuff, and sometimes may watch some movies while doing something else. While we are at it why not convert movie files to dvd, while we work on something else. Thats what dual core or quad core is for, by next year I'm sure most will soft will start utilizing the quads and sure to work well with vista.
