U can make for ppl??
But if pencil Mod, then how many shades should apply??
If too dark can cause over 'over voltage' ? like 2.6v then can cause burn chips ??
How u measure it?? u know how many shades needs in order to raise 0.1v ?

Do u really need 1.40 v to run at 3ghz?

Whatever it is, 1.4v is still within 10% of the default vcore. 1.55v would be overvolting your processor.

Note: I do not take any responsibility for any failure, explosion whatsoever coming from direct, indirect, perpendicular use of the rated vcore! biggrin.gif

anyway, try playing around with your vcore, you 'should' be able to hit 3.0ghz with less than stock vcore. Mine is 3.0ghz @ 1.25v

Here's a good guide for overclocking e6300 (or any other conroe for that matter)
3.0 GHZ easy

devilman, u need to oc step by step. increase ur fsb, then run orthos for 5-10mins, if no prob, increase fsb again, i say 5 fsb each, then run orthos again.. repeat until iorthos fail and then u need to increase ur vcore.

hehehe, okie. but what i want is to reach a min level.
3.15ghz is fast enough for me. only i think im over volating it at 1.275v.
thinking to decrease it. now running orthos fine, idle 38c max 52c.

ram 900mhz with 5-5-5-12 2.2v
idle 32c max load 53c.
