guys,
let's say i get myself a gigabyte 965P-DS3 and a E6300 ... what is the minimum overclock speed that is easily achievable ? seems like 3ghz is a 'normal overclock' for everybody, even if using the stock HSF ... i see that most of you guys are using 7 for the multiplier and the FSB is over 430mhz for most of u ... anybody here not having 'good luck' at overclocking E6300? thanks! QUOTE(mmohdnor @ Dec 14 2006, 02:05 PM) guys, sorry, but its hard to say .let's say i get myself a gigabyte 965P-DS3 and a E6300 ... what is the minimum overclock speed that is easily achievable ? seems like 3ghz is a 'normal overclock' for everybody, even if using the stock HSF ... i see that most of you guys are using 7 for the multiplier and the FSB is over 430mhz for most of u ... anybody here not having 'good luck' at overclocking E6300? thanks! it really depends on ur luck. but based on paper, u shud be able to hit 2.0 - 2.5? there are other variables that have to be taken into consideration. (air flow of case, RAMs, PSU and all that) hope this answers ur question |
