Using KVR PC5333 1gb (can't get the hynix one, its a kingston chip) sad.gif

Running orthos (CPU stress) for about 30 minutes, still ok. temp @ 65c. It was idling at 55c (after OC). Temp reading by TAT. Temp by speedfan only around 55c (Load)

How long should i leave it running stress it under orthos?
*
Kingston chips are renamed... us should had asked for hynix chip from them... and i suggest u get AS5 thermal compound... i applied them on my CPU, southbridge chip, northbridge chip and GC... now my idle temp is 58 on Coretemp... load temp 63... wif the clock on my sig.... icon_idea.gif

dont know lehh.. just hope the vcore is not like the 'air' for the processor.. suffocating the proc from air would be harmful in the long run..

or am i just mumbling some bollocks at the wee hours of a working day nite..

i hope your rite yehlai. biggrin.gif
*
yehlai is rite... put is this way...

if(current(vCore)>stock(vCore))
{
current(temp)>stock(temp);
}
end if

Sifus, need to ask summore questions..

Got this from Intel website for my E6300 processor HERE
pressing the Thermal Specification link in the website, it is defined as
From Core Temp, my processor, E6300 has a Tjunction of 85c. Now im confused, what is the maximum tolerable temperature these processors can handle? Is it 61.4c or 85c?

I really hope its not 61.4c. What say you?
*
hm... for my 6300 now after having Gigabyte G-Power Lite and AS5 compound full load already 62 lor... idle 56-58... icon_rolleyes.gif but as long as around 65 and below is good d lor... it will be great if we can make it 0... tongue.gif

will get myself soon..But ASUS one, not XFX..

plain bundle...

Many say AMD not going to do quad core but dual CPU instead... Anyway... 2 AMD X2 5200+ is still cheaper than 1 C2E QX6700... whistling.gif

PSU cooler master real power 550w flex.gif

at least it's real power... i would get Enermax Liberty 620 if I were u... BTW... the Striker is juz a propaganda... Not really worth getting... OC'ers usually won go for tat exp boards... tat's y popular boards are either Gigabyte GA-965P-DS3 or Asus P5B series... cuz i've seeb ppl wif AMD 3000+ got better response and faster windows loading than C2D... sad.gif but not gaming performance... brows.gif laugh.gif

Any1 exp lower benchies after OC ar...? I can reach 3.6GHz but 3Dmark06 only 1508... sad.gif

mine too got very slight improvement when tightening up the ram timings. can we conclude that super pi doesnt take advantage of ram timings?  blink.gif
