Just won a gym this morning, and realized I can claim the reward immediately!

iinm, its 10 pokecoin for every pokemon inside the gym. Though I'm not sure if the poke will go to the gym owner or the poke owners.

They will eventually be defeated. When that happens, just access your inventory and click on revive potion. It'll show you your pokemon whose 'dead'. Then feed him some heal potions and you should be able to use him again.

Well, I initially thought I'd have to wait 21 hours holding over the gym before I can claim the reward. That's almost impossible to do because so many people are fighting over the gym. I can barely hold the gym for more than 10 minutes during lunch break.

Got a bunch of evee in my stock. So I just spam boost one to max and evolve her. Random luck I got vaporeon though.

There is a time limit, but its still inconclusive.
The reported time limit is somewhere between 30 min - 1 hour.
