You realize Pokemon Go is free, right? Plus its an augmented reality game that has to be played online.

So you pirate what lanjiao? How do you pirate a free game? And how are you supposed to play a game that is online only with a pirated copy?

The game is developed by the same folks who made Ingress. That game is also free and it derives it revenue from advertising deals with local companies.

Pokemon Go likely has the same business model. That means they need to negotiate the advertising deals here first lar. I suspect certain businesses would be more than willing to pay top dollar for their premises to be prime Pokemon catching locations.

You want to pirate their games, you go pirate lar. I see your kind of brainless mentality also know you will probably end up installing a vieus-infected version.

And even you do, you'll find an empty map with no Pokémon to catch, becoz you cannot pirate a server-side game.

Once again, they are not blocking due to rights and region. It's a staggered release as they work out revenue streams for each country. Even Japan, the birthplace of Pokémon, does not have a release just yet.

So, ignoring the jackass above, did everyone who installed already catch their starting pokemon? Cos if you specifically want Pikachu, apparently it's possible to make him show up by ignoring the first spawns around you and just rebooting the game a few times.

Also, could anyone log in today? Not sure if they by blocked off logins for outside regions already, or their servers just got stressed out lol.

Dunno wor, what did you use to login? If Google, maybe you can try creating a new Pokemon account instead.

I also caught a Charmander before I found out about this trick.
