Gemfive emailed me that the item on transit to me and give me Skynet AWB number.

I called Skynet and they said no such AWB number in their system.

Called Gemfive customer service, told me same thing as in email - item on transit to me?? Informed them what Skynet told me and Gemfive only could say will check with merchant and email me.

anything else that i can do?

few days holidays.. maybe skynet did not tracking update in their system

Skynet has one of the worst service ever. I would rate them being the worst courier in Malaysia

Even if the customer tracking not updated , should't it be in their own system at least? Cannot be that item has been picked up by them from merchant but yet not in their system, right? like that stock will always be MIA.

I have bad experience with them before too.

Merchant did fill in the shipment slip with AWB Number and Skynet yet to collect the parcel. So, there will be no record in system.

Yep, that's precisely what has happenned.

I don't see the point of gem5 email to inform that item has been shipped if courier hasn't even picked up yet. Dont consider that as "shipped".

Say today I, the seller, have prepared the parcels and called Skynet etc to pick up. Courier usually do the pick up at night. So I'd now update the system with relevant tracking number so you can track it immediately once its picked up, earliest by tonight. If I were to update you, the buyer only after if its picked up, it would most likely be tomorrow morning (when the staff is back to work). By the time you get notified that the parcel is shipped, you may be out hence delivery fails. You would then blame G5 for notifying you last minute as you had planned for your day in advance and dissatisfaction arises
