I would like to know what's the online trading brokerage fee + stamping fee?

I purchase 2000 units of a share of RM 0.375 and MBB charges me RM779.23.

So I assume the brokerage fee + stamping charge is RM29.23 which is around 3.89%.

It's the same cost as calling my broker over the phone.

Please advise if you have the same problem.

You are buying too little volume, that is why you kena minimum charge.

For your case RM 0.23 is from clearing fees and RM 1 is stamp duty... which leaves RM 28 as your minimum charge. sweat.gif

Buy more or negotiate for lower minimum charge for a lower cost %. For more details look at Q&A thread for the exact calculations.

this morning made a noob mistake.... bangwall.gif  bangwall.gif

This morning I have key in the wrong price for entry. I wanted to key in 2.930 for entry price however I make a mistake to 3.930 and get all matched..

And based on the transaction log it was recorded that all matched at 3.030 in stead.
So did I get it at 3.030 or something else? I cannot confirm because it hav't reflected to my portfolio.

And Maybank customer service keep redirect me for this question..

You got it at 3.03... you key in wrong, you take the blame lo.. not maybank's fault. rolleyes.gif

You got it at 3.03 instead of 3.93 is because trading works on best buy/best sell method.
