QUOTE(options @ May 13 2014, 01:10 PM) I am also trading through M2U and transfer between Premier saving account (this is the bank account Maybank needed to open when I open trading account). I have never been charge RM5 so far (I have use this for many years). My guess is that the RM5 may be only applied for purely bank account, but not apply when it is open for trading purposes. You can call Maybank to confirm. This is true. They dont charge rm5 for stock trading account. Buy they do charge for the purely banking premier account which has some cheque facility.Anyway it doesn't make sense to charge the RM5, they will immediately lose clients if they do that. When you open a trading account. They indicate the account as premier however you dont have the same benefit as the real premier account hence no monthly charges. |

QUOTE(stockerzzz @ May 3 2015, 11:09 AM) I think it shouldn't be because there is another details that is called Interest Payment. So, that one should be related to the balance in the account. As for MG153197, really had no idea what it is. i also have an unknown transaction similar to that, but the code is different but still starting with MG, it is not significant, just a few thousand ringgit, but i am still curious. I have emailed them to seek some clarification |

got my answer already, MG is for contra transaction gain, a bit weird since mine is a normal cash account.
