According to the Lowyat article above, the HP Elite x3 will be arriving here in September 2016, which is around the same time as its worldwide release.

As far as I know, phone with desk dock, about rm3200.
Phone + desk dock + lap dock about rm5200.

RM3,200 is way above my budget.

I do hope they somehow lower the RM5,200 price point for the set of 3. Valuing the lap dock at RM2,000 might put some people off, considering the marketing message HP has been getting across is that the whole bundle should be cheaper than buying a premium phone + laptop and/or tablet.

And yes, I know that RM5,200 is the actual conversion from USD for the bundle advertised in US and whenever things reach Malaysian shores, there's usually a markup. But one can hope

Actually RM2k for a lap dock is way too much, with that amount of money i can buy a budget laptop or netbook dy.

Any news about this X3 phone? It is already being sold in other markets like the US and Europe.

Nothing yet. Hopefully it will available in telco bundle. But unlikely as WM hardly seen in telco's package.

Guys, spotted the Elite x3 on sale at the HP online store for RM3,599. Ships within 6-10 working days, but doesn't look like it's bundled with anything.

Really failed this HP. This price without bundle is a facepalm.

I received email confirmation from the HP CS team that the Elite x3 for that price is bundled with the Desk Dock and Headphones. The only problem is that this isn't made clear on the product page as the Box Contents does not mention these items at all at the moment. Getting them to clarify now.

Yes, after paid later they will said as stated in the website. No desk dock & headphones. No follow up to HP CS that said it's bundle. They always have their own T&C unless stated desk dock & headphones included then we are good.

sadly there is no discount or promo code to buy this phone. If there is any way to buy it at 3 - 3.2k, i will definitely buy one...

Telcos also afraid to bundle it with their plan. WinMo10 is very less people interested in.

Check my siggy. My first impression was this phone seriously is premium build! I wish HP will make Android version as they do know how to build a great phone! If only someone managed to root/jailbreak Win10mo, then I will sideload another WhatsApp.

When I'm using less with this phone.

Battery Management is always good on Windows Phone/Mobile 8-10 unlike power hungry Android/Iphone, the only issue with WP8.0-8.2 are most of the settings were turned on by default (NFC/Blutooth/Wifi Sense) which common user doesnt know how/where to turn them off, they changed most of this on Windows 10 Mobile, its much power saving now i could last 1-2 days on 950xl(3000mAh) with minimal use, i would assume yours would last even longer with 4000mAh+ battery.

Yup, longest I've achieved was 4 days 22 hours with extremely light usage.

Maybe 2-3 days with normal use?

I'm looking forward for what HP can do next in mobile industry. I love this phone messaging's app and outlook's app. Very stunning and well built. Fit its resolution very well.

Hopefully HP will lower the price. I would love to own this one if the price is right. In the meantime, I still have my 950 which serves me well.
I hope that HP will launch new model with Qualcom 835 chip. That chip can emulate x86. I would not mind to pay premium if I can install my full Windows app in the phone.

One issue is the marketplace aka the apps.store, i hope more devs are into this platform =( would be a big fan of wp if the store is well dev-ed =(

This will be a moot point at least for me if new WP phone running 835 chip can install win32 apps. I made a living through some of these apps. If I can ditch my laptop while on the go and use continuum feature, that would be great.
Phone apps are mostly not for work but for play only. They lack features.

For now, Microsoft is planning to get fully working PC apps for continuum. Maybe after that PC apps in a phone?

They had demoed running Photoshop on 835 chip which is a mobile chip.

I'm back with new HP Elite X3! My first unit sold in last December, big-ass box from Singapore. Now is Malaysia set with separate box for dock and phone. Got the laptop specially for this phone too. Ordered the premium case online,surprisingly cheaper than i thought.

Im looking forward for what HP will do next. This phone is a beast. Just that W10P not fully utilize the screen and hardware. Even take a picture need to wait 1-2 secs to capture.
