if its done right gen2 sedan would definately revive proton and bring back confidence to buyers (eventhough neo already did the job but the real big market is sedan! gen2 have the look, if quality build is up to savvy and neo standard it would be a bomb ) variable valve timing would be a plus! so is it confirmed gen2 sedan going to have variable valve timing?
and i hope they make more height room for rear passenger
OT : i would really love to see a neo coupe (putra replacement model maybe?) with higher cc campro with variable valve timing

it would be celica killer
I doubt they'll redo the roof coz;
1. extra design work
2. might look ugly
3. drag co-efficiency will be different
4. extra spare parts to keep in service center
Might as well just have a Gen.2 sedan, if it is good then kill the Waja. Coz dowan these two models fight among themselves.
Engine technology wise I don't think Proton will come up with anything new, there are people who said Lotus can help but Lotus streangths is in chasis design not engines, thats why Lotus never ever has its own engine for any of its cars.
It would be less troublesome for Proton to keep the same Campro engine now in Waja, Neo and Gen.2 so spares can be unified thus lowering cost.
Celica killer? Have to see in terms of performance or what. Performance wise that car isn't much but it does have the looks.
