QUOTE
[WoR]Teza: Can you introduce yourself quickly in a few words?

Gullerbone: I am french and 24 years old, a member of Millenium (french guild) since 1-2 months and I was the one playing the mage called Gawell for this exp rush, eventually I will reroll shaman to complete my PvP arena team.

[WoR]Teza: Whats your played time from 60 to 70? Which zone were you in when you reached lvl 70?

Gullerbone: It took me 28 hours to get from 60 to 70, and dinged 70 at 4:04 am (CET) on Januar 17. I was in Netherstorm (subzone: Mana forge) when i reached lvl 70.

[WoR]Teza: What was your preparation? How did you make it in such a short time?

Gullerbone: Cau (the 1st european lvl 60) and I planned the exp route step by steps, trying everything to make sure it was the most approriate, the groups organization with the guild Millenium and their members. Each member rotated using a definite order to help me to grind on mobs, mostly with AE, surrounded with several guildmates healers, tanks, pullers etc...

[WoR]Teza: How many people were involved in your leveling project?

Gullerbone: All 40 members were involved; Milleniums member were assigned to specific tasks and planning inorder to keep me leveling and the maximum rate.

[WoR]Teza: Was it 10-20 or more people killing mobs after you tagged them?

Gullerbone: Well at first we had be only 5 (during the first 10 hours or so) so that 10 of the members could get lvl 62. then in the morning we were 15 inorder to kill the mobs at a faster rate. Finally in the evening, everyone was involved and we could gather a 35 man raid to help me in netherstorm with our newly lvl 62 doing most of the job.

[WoR]Teza: Right, were you the only one playing Gawell from 60 to 70 for the whole duration 28 hours?

Gullerbone: I sure did, I slept form 2 to 10pm on monday (waked up 2 hours before TBC launch),so the physical preparation was a part of the plan.

[WoR]Teza: Fine, any last words?

Gullerbone: It has been a pleasure to do this with Millenium, I hope we come across other similar challenges in the futur, I am very gratefull to every Millenium members.

The issue has been raised by US players and disproved by European ones. There's been a huge discussion about it but I think the topic sank. =/

At any rate, it's not beta.

If you played closed beta, you will have advantage too. The advantage you have is you know where to quest. So, it's not an accomplishement on that for me. First Lv70 is nothing.

Cheated with other players on his account. lol
I'm sure there are people playing on his account that he didn't spill it out. Also, the plan is definitely from Closed Beta experience and Mage is his class too.

I doubt he meant rotating other people to play his account. He probably meant rotating the people helping him so each could chip in to help and get some xp for themselves as well.

It is far from jealousy. Think of it this way. Everyone eats at their own pace. You chew your food, then swallow.

Now, comes a person that can eat 20 Roti Canai in 2 minutes. Would you be jealous?

If you answer yes, why would you want to eat 20 Roti Canai in 2 minutes? If you answer no, my point is proven.

its ONLY 28 hours, VERY highly possible if you have the motivation and dedication. some caffein and friends definately help too (especially the friends part, and he got that covered)

Speaking of this guide, any idea where/how/if I can get my hands on the 1-60 horde-side guide for free? I've seen it "on sale," but don't want to pay ... haven't really tried searching for a "free" version either, though.

Worth noting is that this guy tried almost everything TBC had to offer during beta so if anything he already enjoyed the current content at his pace. If this was his first 60-70 run, lack of experience would have made 28 hours most unlikely. tongue.gif

I was refering to the people who goes,"Oh so he ate 20 roti canai in 2 minutes, of course he can lah! he ate it without chewing, I'm sure tambi over there made the roti canai smaller too." But anyway I don't understand that proposition of yours.

I thought my point was quite simple. I apologize for my use of horrible and simple logic to state my view of this issue of jealousy. My point was simply, "What is there to be jealous of, exactly?"

Anyhow let's not get off topic about roti canai. So, apparently this guy did something quite amazing. thumbup.gif

Grinding mobs alone won't help you to level fast. You need to quest for that huge xp boost too.

the other mmorpg I played is Dark Age of Camelot. It can take up to a week for a lvl. The whole idea of the game is to stay in the same spot for hours on end. So yeah, WoW is definitely easier. Farming for epic items are easier too because all raids are instanced but Blizzard still limits that too once a week.

but no other MMO have the number of servers that WoW has lol. Its just insane.
