i'm considering to buy either lennove Y400 C2D or acer 5583. Can anyone please tell me whether the Y400 is stable and reliable...thanks

im planning to use this mainly for surfing, video con, ms office works and a bit of strategy gaming like CnC, warcraft, AoE etc...(not carbon). wud this Y400 be good for it?

just came back from klcc. found the Y400 series. nice looking lappie

the salesgirl informed me that there wouldn't be any difference between core duo 1.60G and C2D 1.66G in terms of gaming. is this true? i know stuff like MS office n browsing would practically be the same on any lappie...just want to know whether C2D would provide a smoother gaming exp then core duo...any comment guys..

hmmm....i think i'm going for the 945425A. feels like "alang-alang" buying one, might as well get me one that can last for 3 years minimum.

the 1G ram offered, is it 1 slot or 512 x 2?
