Hi there,

I bought one apartment under construction and signed the SPA (schedule H) 2 1/2 years ago. I was informed by the Developer that they are going to relocate my car park due to the amendments or variations required for the Development as approved by the Appropriate Authorities. They even told me the car park no. is the same but slight change on the car park plan.

I was made understand that I have to sign the Supplemental Agreement and since I've taken up a loan from the bank then I have to sign Supplemental Deed of Assignment.

So, my question is whether these two supplemental agreements are valid agreements and allowed by the Law despite I had signed the SPA in the first place? Is it allowed to amend their plans during construction works?

I don't mind to sign these Supplemental Agreement but I would like to know the legality of these Agreement.

Why don't you check with your lawyer, it will be better to get them to confirm instead.

if you ok with the relocation, why worry on supp agreement?

eventually you will get your share and pt number for the car park
