Ok here are the list of people so far that are confirmed to be joining. Those that have not listed down your race and class, pls do so in this thread so i can update them. And if i have left out anybody, pls do not hesitate to put your name in and be RECOGNIZED.

Now on to the server we are rolling in. Firstly, as i have said, Blizzard has released several new servers after launch day. And so i suggest to all of you once again, there is hope for a new Oceanic PvP realm. Though these new launch servers do not include any Oceanic realms so far, i suggest we wait until next Tuesday's maintainence is over then only decide. If really there isn't any, then I say we roll on Thaurissan. Why? Though there are lvl 60's and above there already, should a new Oceanic PvP realm be opened up for transfers, we will be included in the transfers so that's my reason. Now i ask you all to be patient and wait and see because of several reasons i hope you all will agree with me

1) Thaurissan has been around for 1-2 months, it's a transfer server so there'll be tonnes of 60's and above around.
2) Economy is going to suffer due to the abundance of 60's.
3) Since the game has just been released, imagine the lag. Even some of us who have tried it on release day have been reporting unbearable lag even in starting areas of the Draenei and BE.
4) If Thaurissan doesn't suit us at all, it's going to ruin the whole "guild" thing we have painstakingly took to set up.
5) Another few more days isn't gonna hurt considering we have waited for over a month from their initial release period.

This is if we straight go to Thaurissan. However if we choose other servers other than Oceanic, the problems we could face are

1) Recruitment of Asians are going to be much harder in US realms.
2) If you choose PvE, it's going to dull our senses alot more and trust me, PvP is the way to go.
3) Since time zones are different, should we choose a US realm, if we have US members, they'll be sleeping while we attempt to raid. That's not going to work out at all =|.

That is it so far. So once again, those who have not listed their class and race pls do so and also if i missed out on anyone, pls list your name so i can add it to the list. Thank you all for being a wonderful audience.

We have to take in account for the lag with streamyx nowadays. If you really want a pvp server ask yourself this question.

1) Guild is for newbies. Alot of them have no or little experience in playing wow. Might not be you or me but there will be alot of em.
2) Streamyx 1 - 2 sec delay, Can you live with it?
3) Theres a bg if you wanna pvp vs alliance anyway. Arena is out in BC so open land pvping is obsolete
4) Lastly, Do you think you have the guts to go pvp while you're not powerleveling like the power levelers we see in new servers. 10 days = lv 60

1) Guild is not really for newbies. So many of us here are either seasoned raiders or people who have at least played till level 50 and above. Not to mention that most of us here are in PvP servers.

2) I don't get your point. StreamyX has and will always give us lag so what's this point for? Elaborate more for me please?

3) BG's are there yeah but still, with the constant complain of queue's in BG, anybody will not be satisfied with the long wait times. Also, BG's tend to be in groups, which isn't really effective for honing your PvP skills.

4) I have the guts to go PvP while i'm not powerleveling. Hell, i was in Kil'Jaedan when i first started WOW. And that's a PvP server.

Dude. Read. This guild is for new players newbies and all. You can doublecheck that with nitro.

SO please be considerate for the others.

Most of us played thru level 50. Most is a good word. It can be one or more than one.

BG lines are long. Thats why there the "PVP Arena" Introduced to feed you "PvP Junkies" Out there.

And finnaly streamyx is lagging badly right now. Maybe not in your area. But if you pay attention to what others people says more you will understand everyone is lagging like crap over here and there.
We are the LoTH. We are currently on a verge of establishing a guild for malaysian and asia pacific region prior on the release of burning crusade. As i have mentioned above, this will be your primary opportunity for rerolls and comebacks. LoTH is a casual, progresive, long term initiatives to take the challenge of Azeroth. How casual are we you may ask? Let me just inform you that unlike other casuals, we strive to be progresive at the same time. High end Raids, PVP will definitely be in our goal list and guild long term strategy. But unlike those hardcore and elite wow players who speak wow giberish most of the time and do 60 in 2 weeks, we play for the fun of it. We dont do countless hours of raids and force you to commit certain hours of your precious time for it. We believe in enjoying the game at our own pace while helping each other and most importantly, building a friendly and lovely community amongts oursleves. If u feel that u are NOT a wow elites, join our ranks now and be part of stress free environment!

Our guild comprises of Malaysians from various backgrounds. But we welcome everyone including from other countries into our guild. Most of us are working individuals, students, who dont have much time to play wow, but atthe same time, we too want to be involve in high end raids, etc. LoTH is here to cater all those needs. Some of us may have been into a hardcore guild, including myself. But we feel that there is too much heat in those type of guild so we decide to be here in LoTH where everything is peace and care.

Who Are You?

Do u feel that you are committing too much of your time to wow but is still unable to catch up with your guild members? Have u find yourself grinding and farming alone even though you are in a 200 active player guild but just because u are unable to commit 6 hours a day and have insufficient epic equiped, you are drop from the list of raids? Do u have multiple alts cause your main 60 is jobless? Do you feel nausea, frequent headache, or loss of appetite? if u are one of those, u are what we category as, the person with absolutely ..no life. We have things outside the world of Azeroth. You probably have to feed your family with real food, (not alterac cheese damn it!). u may have a full time job. u only have time for wow 4 hours a week. But you are competing with a bunch of wow fanatics that have time to spend gazillion hours of wow. You force yourself to it, but instead of enjoying the game, you get stress. But you still crave in venturing into the endless burning pit of Molten core and face the fiery dragons in Azeroth. Do not be despair. with LoTH, we can create that dream for you.

Our Target and expectations

Even though we are a casual guild, we are definitly targeting to be in end game instances as well as group PVP. But rather then killing yourself to get there, we take it slowly and enjoy the game. In other words, there will be no rushing in here. You can level to 60 at your own pace. we will not kick you out. We have short term, mid term and long term goals. While we get there, we have fun!
This is what Sir nitrofang said. And most of us, if not all, want a PvP server. So am i the only guy being inconsiderate here? And if there are newbies as well, no problem, we will help them get there. Ganking problems, we will definitely help. And judging from most of the feedback, and not 1 or 2, or slightly more but probably about 15 over or more people, they have all raided Onyxia at the very least and have participated in AV, WSG and AB. And what makes you think I'm not paying attention to what people are posting about? in fact, i for one am telling everybody to be patient and wait for next week's weekly WOW Server maintainence to decide on a server to roll on, and the lag we are experiencing is one of the reasons why I suggested such. But it seems to me that most of you are already itching to start the guild going already, not taking most of these facts into consideration as i have mentioned. I am not blaming you, I will not reprimand you nor smite you for I too am as impatient as all of you. I can't even sleep at night damn it because of this hahaha. So you see, if we co-ordinate and plan properly, we may even last for who knows, until the next expansion? If we rush things now, we might last for a month or so only if everything isn't going as planned. So i plead with you all, be patient.

relax peeps. we are trying our best here to satisfy everyone. to answer shaderx questions, this guild has not change much, although i do admit certain amendments have been made to suit the situation. however, the guild will still cater for newbies, rerolls, working individuals, students, and ppl who wants to make comebacks. that is our target group. off course, during the process, there will be influx of seasoned raiders too. but the guild should remain suitable for the other mentioned groups as well. this should not be a problem, because we are going to help each other, rite? so dont worry, lets discuss this healthily, and remember, have fun! biggrin.gif

on another note, we are gonna kick off the guild on 24 January 2007, immediately after next tuesday maintenance. If no new oceanic PVP server announce, there is a 63.76% chance that we gonna role in thaurissan.
