Sharing my experience with you guys. Applied balance transfer through Ambank with 0% interest rate (no hiding fee) about 30k for 12 months installment but only allowed to transfer to other banks credit card account. Fortunately, I manage to transfer out the 30k from credit card account to my current account. It seems I can just apply earn some $$ by placing the fund into FD. 😄

Yes. Surprisingly totally no cost at all! I think this is the promotion I guess.i transfer to hongleong and UOB. No need to provide bank statement, just the credit card number will do. I requested it over the phone. Thereafter, I called hongleong and UOB to make a transfer, both help to transfer to my other banks currency account with RM 0.11 IBG charge.

you are right. but it seems on and off you will see the 0% balance transfer from different bank. if not mistaken, HSBC and maybank did offer one time before. so is a good chance to apply and transfer it out.

i believe all the banks allow to do the same. i had experienced before accidentally transfer twice to alliance bank and they also did the same.

anyone here cancel the ambank infinite card before? would the cancellation department offer you something? 0% BT or special cash rebate ?

Just entered the green market last week with my wife.
redeem the point today and cancel it soon. cut 1 more unnecessary card.

ambank cancellation team just called me and offer me RM50 cash reward + 50% (capped up to RM50) offer.
since she also offer my supplementary card the 50% offer . i just keep it for now.

anyone getting different benefits

no condition. just keep the card.
i very insist to cancel even they offer RM 50 but then they come out another combo offer.

ANything the CS said. Just spend 100 and you will get 50 rebate. Is it good offer? Actually not keen to keep one. Lazy to keep so many cards. Since everything will be credited in jan. I keep until jan lo.

I think I spent 50k last year but don’t think is much for them gua. Still said use Ambank card can earn point what la just keep the card. So obvious your point reward system is not attractive at all but still dare to mention oh. Haha
